Wierd dream
So I had this dream last night, was a bit... special (usually don't remember much but this one stuck in my head).
It started with me visiting the Shard of Glass construction site, and going to the top. Had to walk part of the way then got a ski-lift the rest. At the top it turned out that it was actually level with a cliff and could step between, and people were saying how convenient was going to be to be able to take the lift down to get to central London rather than take the train. After looking in the visitor centre we stepped out onto a viewing platform to find that London had suddenly been flooded, and this was the only point above the water.
The waters receded to show buildings knocked over as if were cardboard boxes. Next bit is hazy, but was going to be a party back at the top of the Shard to celebrate our survival, and I had to drive up there this time (the inside was like a multi-story car park).
When I got to the top London had flooded again, and this time the water wasn't going to go away. We were working out how were going to survive when I woke up.
Am sure there are some deep meanings to this!

This video is too awesome for words
Not sure what I enjoy more, Azunyan rocking out with the mekomimi, Mio's Bass face or Yui acting all emo. Only question is where's Mugi?

Top 5 Op's of 2010
Counterpart to the previous post, my ranking of top opening sequences of this year. I try and avoid giving a show more than one place (or this would be a very K-ON!! heavy list). Ranking is as follows:
5) Oshichau_Zo (Omamori_Himari)
Mainly because I like the SD characters and were no other shows at the time whose OP I liked much
3) Highschool of the dead (Highschool of the dead)
Good guitar riffs, more panty shots
2) Mittsu Kazoete Daishuugou! (Mitsudomoe)
Sums up the show perfectly, catchy and reminiscent of the Minami-ke OP
1) Hikarai no Senritsu (Sora no Woto)
5) Oshichau_Zo (Omamori_Himari)
Kind of making up do up the numbers, but does at least have a catgirl Himari getting her clothes ripped off and plenty of panty shots.
4) Ready go! (Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi)
Great visuals, recalling Elfen Lied and the work of Gustav Klimt. Stunning
Top 5 ED's of 2010
This is my take on the best ending songs from this year, based purely on personal preference and shows have seen.
5) More-More Lovers (MM!)
I like the outfits (asymmetric socks and gloves FTW!) and the dance moves are kind of goofy but fun
4) Aoi Hana (Seitokai Yakuindomo)
Bonus point for having no real connection to the main show, however biggest draw for me is the catchy chants
3) Baka go Home (Baka to Test to Shōkanjū)
My favourite j-punk band put out a blinder here, plus the images make it look like a yaoi show
2) Pinky Jones (Yosuga no Sora)
SD characters, the shows main plot points played around with and nonsensical lyrics. What's not to like?
1) No, Thank you (K-ON!!)
Best show of the year for music, slightly has the edge over Listen as the sounds is stronger and better visuals (though the girls outfits in Listen are cuter IMO)
